Description

The Eksigent NanoLC-Ultra is a new offering from a company whose name is already synonymous with high performance and reliability.  The key features of this instrument - high pressure capability up to 10,000 psi, heated column compartment up to 40°C, self-priming/purging pumps - are a welcome addition to the staple properties of direct pumping technology that ensures accurate and reproducible flow rates in the nanolitre and microlitre per minute range.

  • Maximum pressure: 10,000 psi (690 bar)
  • Standard flow rate ranges:

o         Loading pump: 1-30 µl/minute

o         Nano gradient: 50-500 nL/minute (up to 1000 nL/minute at reduced maximum pressure)

o         Micro gradient: 1-10 µl/minute (up to 20 µl/minute at reduced maximum pressure)

  • Flow rate precision: <0.5 % at 200 nL/minute
  • Gradient accuracy: <1 % at 200 nL/minute
  • Gradient delay: < 25 nL
  • Column oven: ambient + 5°C to 40°C (±1°C)
  • Built-in 10-port valve:

o         1/32” connection; 0.1 mm bore;

o         Port-to-port volume: < 25 nL

o         Maximum pressure: 10,000 psi (690 bar)

o         Stainless steel with proprietary coating on valve stator

  •  Wetted parts: valve stator, stainless steel, titanium, PEEK, fused silica, FEP, proprietary inert coating
  •  I/O: 1 x USB for instrument control, 2 x RS232 serial output
  • Each pump channel has: 2 x TTL in, 4 x TTL out
  • Instrument control: Eksigent software with plug-ins for Thermo Electron’s Xcalibur® and ABI/Sciex Analyst® software

AS-2 Autosampler:

  • Capacity: 2 microtiter plates (96 well high/low or 384 low) or 48/12 sample vial racks
  • Injection volume: programmable from 100 nL to 10 µl with standard 10 µl loop (larger injection volumes possible with optional loop)
  • Dispenser syringe: 25 µl standard; optional: 100 µl, 250 µl
  • Carry-over: <0.05 %
  • Sample tray cooling: 4°C to ambient -3°C (±2°C)
  • Wetted parts: Stainless steel, PTFE, PEEK, glass, Teflow, EEFZEL, fused silica, proprietary inert coating
  • I/O: RS232 serial port for instrument control, 1 programmable relay output, 2 programmable TTL inputs

Software Drivers

Eksigent provides software and computer control system for Windows that is fully integrateable with Thermo Fisher Xcalibur® and ABI/Sciex Analyst® (drivers for Bruker's HyStar® to come mid 2008)
